Since releasing their debut album ‘Gameplay’ in 2022, which the band launched to a packed-out hometown headline show at Sub89 in Reading, Third Lung have garnered critical acclaim from the likes of BBC Music 6 (Steve Lemacq), Record Collector, HiFi+, The Arts Desk, BBC Introducing, Amazing radio (Charlie Ashcroft), Planet Rock, Gigslutz among many others.

Alongside this the band have embarked on an extensive record store tour, stopping at numerous indie locations and over 20 HMV branches nationwide. Most recently, the band have signed with the world renowned and iconic Marquee Records under the umbrella of Universal Music Group.

With copies of their album on vinyl and CD selling out in each city they visit, and with multiple mainstage festival slots already confirmed for the year ahead, Lakefest, FiFest, The Willow Festival, Frogfest and Bunkfest among them, Third Lung are a definite hot one to watch on the indie music scene.
