Come With Me’ is the self-penned, self-vocalised debut solo album from former Simple Minds drummer Mel Gaynor due to be released on the Marquee Records label in 2024.
Mel Gaynor has sold over 60 million records during his 35 years with Rock superstars, Simple Minds. Recognised as one of the most renowned drummers in the world, Mel has played with guitar greats including Brian May and Gary Moore and the likes of Elton John, Lou Reed, Tina Turner, Meat Loaf and The Pretenders.
Gaynor began drumming at age 11 in London, England, and did his first professional gig at 14. Besides drumming, he is a songwriter, lead vocalist, and record producer. Mel considers The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, and the Mahavishnu Orchestra to be his main influences and inspirations.
Mel is available for press calls, interviews, and photos. In addition to booking for festivals and shows, he also teaches drums and offers drum clinics.
