Ed Bennett – a maverick rolling-stone, whose determined free-spirited sound has attracted the attention of label bosses, with Ed’s debut single, ‘Small Stuff’ released earlier this year.
A British native, born on an army base in Germany, Ed was taught never to set-down roots, as his family were in constant flux between the UK and Europe – an upbringing which chiselled a determined free-spirit into this 23-year old singer/songwriter. Ed’s ‘nothing-can-tie-me down’ ethos, a self-taught guitar in his hands and a cheeky glint in his eye, fused into a giant musical melting pot; creating what Marquee Records see as the young generation of indie rock.
